Should I buy Van Halen tickets?

March 3 may be "further notice", but don't hold your breath- Valerie's book comes out next week on Oprah- may not be a good day in the VanHalen camp

Yeah. I know. I understand this book is causing serious unrest. I feel bad for Wolfgang. I think it is self centered of her to do this. She is having total disregard for that young man. From what I understand, some of the content really isn't necessary.

Vaughn why were two shows cancelled ? There's a lot of flu going around florida . Being that Van Halen just did 4 shows in this state I would not doubt if someone got sick.
Valeries book is going to bother them if it's going to bother them whether on tour or not.
I read somewhere that Val is going to every stop of the tour to keep an eye on Wolfie. I also saw her say she misses him so who knows.
Wolfie himself said she's keepin a close eye on him at the press conference announcing the tour.

She's on Oprah Monday so I wonder if that's why the shows last night and this monday were postponed.

If that is why , she's one self-centered beotch. I hope it's because someone got sick.

It gives the band a longer break than they would have had anyway. Can't be a bad thing for 50something rock stars.

People saying Ed's going to rehab with nothing to base that on but rumours is kind of , ah, wrong.

I'm telling you if you get a chance check em out.

EDIT: trucks and gear are on the way to Dalllas, so your source was on target Vaughn... But I did preface mine with the fact that we were cocktailing!! Crew guys are on short hiatus at home or on vacations (which I understand come at a REALLY good time now for some..).. Keep fingers crossed that all gets back to "normal" in that camp..

Have you guys seen the YouTube when Zakk Wylde crawled up onstage during what I believe was a small warm-up gig for this tour? Dave totally diss'd him. That pizzed me off. Zakk has always idolized Edward, and still to this day religeously jams to classic VH songs backstage while warming up for Ozzy or BLS shows. Zakk and Eddie were both were heavily involved in Dimebag's funeral - and Dimebag was friends with both Eddie and Zakk. I also heard that Eddie & Zakk talked afterwards - and all is cool between them.

Dude, there is more to this story than meets the eye. I mean come on, Ed had just gotten out of rehab, and Zakk is a raging party animal. Ed was a disgrace at Dime's funeral. At that time, and probably even now, Ed doesn't need any influences like that around him. I have met Zakk, and hung with him on the tour bus. He's a great guy, but a partier. Ed just didn't need that at that time.

Looks like the tour is set to resume on Monday in Dallas. Unless something happens in the next day or two, they are ready to go. I am hearing that Wolfgang is done after the May dates, and VH very well might be done too. I guess Wolfgang wants to go back to school, and resume being a kid. Can't blame him. It's not all glitz and glamour on the road.

I truly hope they can patch things up with Mike, and get a true Van HALEN reunion underway!

I gotta thank you man. If I'd been sitting here watching youtubes after NOT going to this show, I'd have been pretty pissed off.

they have announced new dates for every postponed stop.
I read that Val is in Dallas tonight doing a book signing . Maybe Ed just doesn't want to be anywhere near her. I just read her book. I understand why she wanted to write it. I most certainly do not understand why she had to release it now. It's not very flattering to Ed.
