If they would do all races the way they did last night with all of the extra things they did like following the turnaround of the cars and such I think the NHRA's fan base would get bigger.

....We kind of pushed our luck shooting it five different times and thankfully nothing happened. But at 300 mph+ when those cars go by you and you're just a few feet away, it almost takes your breath away!

Dang...they won't even let me shoot pictures of bracket cars from where you were standing! Bit of a rush at the stripe huh?

The show was great last night - nothing like live finals!

While we are on the subject of the telecast, I was wondering why the sum of the reaction time and the run aren't added together and displayed for us math-challenged types. I know it's not useful all (or most) of the time, but when they start talking about 14 ten-thousands, I'd like to see the side-by-side numbers.
