Looking at the numbers, that car can compete with anyone. I've been impressed with the first two races. If Jaz can get a bit quicker on the tree, she will be in the mix.
I'm not sure if that's the same car her Dad was driving but if it is, it's been 3.64@338mph and 300 to the 660 so it's ready once Dad feels confident enough to allow the CC to turn up the wick. Becoming Langdon-quick at the tree can take years. If she sticks with it she'll get there and then she'll win races.

On a related note, whose jaw dropped when they fired the tree for the Pro Stock final? Damndest thing I've ever seen, as crazy in a not so good way as the incredible double-.000 lights at the 2014 Winternationals Pro Stock semifinal where Enders won her first championship.

Not sure whats up with cutting ps short 1st rd,wht cant they show 3 more runs instead of all the replays of nitro....

I was surprised during 2 of the qualifying rounds it was mentioned Scrappers was looking for sponsors. Mike has mentioned numerous times that he wants total control of their racing operations and didn’t want to be beholding to anyone except himself.

this was posted the other day. why doesn't nhra get together with it's pros and figure out a deal that benefits everyone
that is loyal to the nhra series? i bet there are reasons behind this that we'll never know.

Jaz has a typo, though. Martin Mi is US131 that should be under NHRA?

I think the Martin IHRA needs to be changed to Milan Mi?

They do have a deal. Pay your entry fee, blow up a differential in qualifying, another in 1st round. Then go home and count up how much money you lost!

No seriously, they really do in this 75th year, all kinds of qualifying and round win bonuses in TF and FC. Not sure about Pro Stock.
Next year probably not?!!

TF and FC don’t pay entry fees.
