Run Order..??

I know how lanes and run order are selected for 1st round.. the #1 car picks what pair he wants to be going down the lane, he can pick 8 and be the last pair to race...and #8 picks last so 8 & 9 are usually the first pair down...

However in 2nd round, the faster car has lane choice, but how is the run order decided for 2nd round.. which pair runs 1st 2nd etc...

I believe the quickest winning E.T. get to choose what pair they want.
