I love Rob, probably my favorite CC next to Gerda, but they haven’t exactly been a very consistent car this season. Missing the Top 10 and both cars exiting first round at Indy probably didn’t help things

rob hasn't released youtube videos lately, then does (2) last week/weekend. i thought maybe they were intended as
social media for ida, but maybe rob wanted to do them himself?
announcement about a new hire coming soon?

To put myself in his shoes...Rob knows that Shawn Reed will not be a full-time operation for next year. He goes into Indy realizing that he needs to start reaching out to his contacts to try and line something up for next year, before any prime openings for cc are taken. Indy is typically the time when you hear about deals quietly being finalized for the following year, so career-wise, I know I would feel a lot of pressure to try and get something moving immediately for 2027. Then you roll into Indy and are expected to run 2 high profile fuel cars with a single crew. Probably stressed out and burning the midnight oil to make it happen (and in miserable heat). Doesn't leave a lot of time for networking for next year. In his video, I got the sense that Rob was less than happy about running the two cars with limited crew. That is a "turning in my resignation" circumstances if I have ever seen them.
