I believe Rick had a PS team many years ago didn't he?

Suposedly he has been at alot of the open runs at Z-Max and taken many of his personal hot rods and fast cars down the strip...

Maybe the strip or Kurt Bush has inspired him to get back behind the wheel some... cool deal...

I first met Rick in the late 70's when we both raced Drag Boats, yes he drove back then in Hyd. Comp. He later went to T/F Hydro with Jimmy Wright doing the driving. Was world champ a couple of yrs. We lost Jimmy in a crash at Litchfield, Ill. I think 1981 and Rick dropped out of the boat scene. Next thing I knew I saw City Chevrolet on the side of a NASCAR.
Back when we raced and I knew him he was a real nice guy, he just had LOTS more $$$ then me. LOL

That's how I remember him too!
A few years back I saw some old photo's with Rick in the seat of a boat.....looked like a River Racer Hydro, LOL! Kinda cool.

Not to change the subject.....
I use to have a early 80's Cole Fuel Hydro for a few years. Burnt into the Gel Coat on the transom was some lettering that was removed that displayed Jimmy Wright's name on it....do you remember seeing him in a Cole Fuel Boat back in the day?

Rick's boat was yellow, named ( Little Lemon ) if I remember correct. His Fuel boat was red named ( Nitro Fever ) don't remember what the brand of hull was.
