Bob Frey reports on DRC (and entry list confirms) that Virgil has made this happen! It will be great to see the family back on track.

Best wishes for successful weekend -

We are excited about Rhonda being back at an NHRA event, especially the first ever 4 wide nationals.

We have teamed up with Joe and Alan Hartley and are using their car/equipment/crew from last year. It was a strong performer and we are looking forward to a good outing this weekend.

Will be a very exciting weekend of racing, glad that she gets to be a part of it. Would love to see her go some rounds. Best of luck guys!

In the years that Rhonda ran top fuel I can not remember A lot of hoopla about her being a female, she just went about the business of being a good driver and getting the racecar from A to B as quickly as possible. I for one am very happy to see her back.
Best of luck this weekend Rhonda for you and the entire Hartman team!:)

Maybe the Hartman hoopla department wasn't doing it's job.:D

Heh Virgil, I am a big drag racing fan(duh), and my momma told me , if you don,t know something, ask the question (please don,t paraphrase me here). I was wondering if you could tell me what brings you guy,s back to the track.I don,t want to overstep my bounds, or get to personal. But from the posts iv,e read from you, you don,t seem to mind , helping others to understand certain things about racing. I know you and your family live drag racing, maybe not so much now, as before. And from what I hear, two wally,s is better than one wally.I,m just curious, and I,m sure others are, what brings you to charlotte? Is it just the love of racing? To get the signage out in front of the masses? To help Rhonda do something she loves? Any help with this Virgil, will be greatly appreciated. Me and my fellow Michigan fans wish you the best of luck this weekend. Thanks again, and stay safe.Mike Wright.

Whether we are in the spotlight or behind the scenes, my extended family is always around racing of some sort. We have made a lot of good friends in racing over the years, and expect to meet more. Many of our dailey activities involve racers from the past, present and future.

Why Charlotte? Because opportunity knocked on several doors, and our natural curiousity makes us want to open those doors and explore the options. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? Charlotte is only 100 miles from home, and it is a beautiful facility that makes a great back drop for what we want to accomplish. And, it is the only FIRST 4 wide national event forever. Now how cool is that?
