Pro Stock/Pro Modified - Hans Device

I have been away from drag racing for over 6 years after "semi-retiring" from Motorsports Insurance, but now I am back and had a question. I posted this question under the Steve Engel thread, but figured not many would view it who could respond so here goes: do most/all Pro Stockers and Pro Mods use/have HANS devices? I know the fuelers are required to have them, but I never gave it much thought for the rest. I believe that device, in itself, would have probably saved Steve's spinal injuries.

Mostt of the Pro Mods guys i know use a version of the Hans or one of the other companys versions...(Hybrid.. i think is the name)... Quain Stott said it is great for protection...but if adjusted right it helps on the whiplash effect you get when pulling the chutes at times....

i know a few of the IHRa PS drivers use them as well....

We bought two R3s just recently as well as a R3 Rage (a heavier version of a R3, I hope we never have to use them, but by golly, I got them!
