This legislation is aimed at taking a bite out of illegal dog fighting and cock fighting, (the latter is illegal in all states but Louisiana).

This is a landmark!! All too often animal abuse carries no felony penalty. . this is at least a start in the right direction. Let's fight to make any animal abuse a felony in the USA!
