DRC takes the info from the NHRA sheets, which in turn come from the tech cards. The towns often differ depending on who fills out the tech card. Sometimes, they put the driver's town. Other times, the car owner's town.
So the question remains: is the PSM Steve Johnson also racing in Comp this weekend?

this is the new comp rule, 82 body style and older + shifting

seeing that shirley is the 'legend' of this race, please do make amanda busik wear her old firesuit like she did last year.
(can't remember where) ..... chad green only one in 3's in FC Q1
13 out of 16 FC's in Q3 were early shutoffs and 10 out of 15 TF's were. 73 degrees; I wouldn't think the track was that hot.

What a wonderful weather day. And that place was packed. I don't know what sold out means, but there were a lot of people. I know the facility is a bit on the small side comparatively speaking. But still.

It was good to see John Force at the race.

I’m very happy for NHRA and the track owners for selling the event out. Granted, sgmp and mir are not the largest capacity tracks, but anytime they can announce a sellout that’s just really good news.

Their spectator counts have been up this year overall I read. Good for the sport!

I was surprised how warm the track temperature was as compared to the ambient temperature today. However after some thought, sunrise is very early, the sunlight has a more direct angle to the surface, daylight is about 14 hours and there wasn't a lot of cloud cover.

A nice pass for Lex Joon in a losing effort in TF 1st Rd. I wonder if he is getting any experienced help this weekend, like from a Ron Tobler-type?

Looks like Jimmy Prock is starting to get a handle on the Tasca FC with a nice pass in 1st Rd FC. Also, they won the Mission Foods race yesterday.

PSM suddenly became really interesting! Ryan Oehler is flying!

Rickey Gadson was fire in the booth too. They need that guy in there more often!
