Lanes both appear to be good. I thought qualifying was good, especially given that most of these folks have not been on this track in a long time. Greg Anderson mentioned that he was testing here the day of 9/11. Then he won his first race a month later.

On another note, Did anyone else notice that Steve Johnson (PSM) has been taking some laps in the Comp elim. class? Qualified #1 so far at MIR. My question ... Is it own car or is he driving for someone else?

I saw that too. But is it the same Steve Johnson? I haven't ever known him to do any cross-over driving in other classes.

Whether Shirley needs to or not, it's not a horrible way to spend some weekends in an environment that's been her whole world, and spending time with fans and fellow racers. And, making a few dollars as well.
Their's a couple of people on the Shirley POTOMAC thread who think she shouldn't be there at all.:(

Yup it is because his name is highlighted in red which means if you mouse over his name, it's a hyperlink to his profile.

the qualifying order on DRC has this Steve Johnson listed from Spartanburg NC. The PSM racer is from Birmingham Al
DRC takes the info from the NHRA sheets, which in turn come from the tech cards. The towns often differ depending on who fills out the tech card. Sometimes, they put the driver's town. Other times, the car owner's town.
