Lanes both appear to be good. I thought qualifying was good, especially given that most of these folks have not been on this track in a long time. Greg Anderson mentioned that he was testing here the day of 9/11. Then he won his first race a month later.

He was driving his NHRA car that Julie Nataas drove in Gainesville. He has separate cars for each series.

I saw that too. But is it the same Steve Johnson? I haven't ever known him to do any cross-over driving in other classes.

Whether Shirley needs to or not, it's not a horrible way to spend some weekends in an environment that's been her whole world, and spending time with fans and fellow racers. And, making a few dollars as well.

Their's a couple of people on the Shirley POTOMAC thread who think she shouldn't be there at all.

DRC takes the info from the NHRA sheets, which in turn come from the tech cards. The towns often differ depending on who fills out the tech card. Sometimes, they put the driver's town. Other times, the car owner's town.
