As mentioned previously, Famoso is in the middle of groves and orchards and I love driving those roads...

You know what? I thought it was going to be hot, but it was just sunny with a cold wind! Got there at noon Saturday and judging from the parking lot, it kinda seemed like attendance was down. <shrug>

Anyways, I walked in and noticed they are parking cars along the fence in the staging lanes

Bunch a guys pooled their spare bux, got a p/u truck, a single axle trailer, and a pipe rack on nitro.....went racin' and had fun.

OK, this car, the Beach City Vette, has THE wickedest cackle of all the race cars. The thing shakes violently just idling. Rips yer head right off. Love it very much.
