Please, it doesn't take "talent" to lie on your back like a dead corpse while some dufus who's all too happy to be there has his fun. As far as the TV show, she and that other chick acted like idiots in those backwoods towns while the cameras rolled.

But obviously I'm in the minority here and it seems that a lot of guys like Paris (I seriously have to question their tastes!) so I guess I'll just shut up.

So the originator of the thread says."l hope the rich bitch goes to jail, what's your opinion?"

Sam says "Good, I'm glad the dumb b*tch got put in the slammer, even if it's for only 45 days.etc etc etc."

So either way shes a bitch and Sam gets mauled?

You guys take some of this sh!t way to seriously.

Yea..Sam appears to be the flavor of the month for some reason.

I find the mauling kind of childish.

I have to agree with Sam, I think she is a waste of good air. And what pisses me off the most are the girls that want to be just like her, and idolize her. I have a niece who is trying to be like her, and I am doing everything in my power to prevent it, I don't need her running around town showing her cooter to every Joe Schmo.

Gonna beat this dead horse again

Cause I found this to be hillarious in a sad way
The comparison to Nixon is the best part

Paris Hilton is calling on her fans to help her stay out of jail - by endorsing an online petition they can sign. The desperate socialite, who was sentenced to serve 45 days in jail last week after violating terms of her 2006 drink-driving arrest, has teamed up with a pal called Joshua to urge fans to help her. In a post on her MySpace blog, Hilton, who is also asking California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to pardon her, writes, "My friend Joshua started this petition. Please help and sign it. I love you all!" The petition, which is addressed to Schwarzenegger, claims "the American public who support Paris are shocked, dismayed and appalled by how Paris has been the person to be used as an example that drunk driving is wrong. She provides hope for young people all over the US and the world. She provides beauty and excitement to (most of) our otherwise mundane lives. If the late former President Gerald Ford could find it in his heart to pardon the late former President Richard Nixon after his mistake(s), we undeniably support Paris Hilton being pardoned for her honest mistake as well." Hilton is due to start serving time by June 5 if her appeal fails, after being sentenced at a hearing at Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday.

What bothers me the most regarding this petition thing is that most of these tabloid-addicted "fans" would be the first to say how tragic it was if someone ELSE drove drunk and caused an accident, or worse, a death/injury, and these same people would be calling for justice to be served upon the convicted...

Putting Paris in jail won't make her a better person- it won't even stop her from being the spoiled, superficial brat that she and her compadres have become famous for, or from doing the same stupid crap again. If anything, jail will give her more "bad girl cred" that some personal manager and publicist will figure out how to market for additional financial gain.

I can't ever feel sorry for anyone of her ilk, and whenever the criminal justice system nails an idiot like her, it just gives me a little bit more hope that the system might just still work.

I think it would be enlightening for Paris to pee on that stainless steel stool. Humility is a good thing.

What a joke,do ur time b*tch,any1 else who is stupid enough to drive on a suspended lic and show up late at court which would be another violation should do more that 45 days.

Paris is so "EVERYTHING" that we "aren't" here in drag racing.. Even the wealthy drag racers, the dumb drag racers and the self-centered drag racers don't hold a candle to the likes of her and her phony Nuvo-Riche kind...

Jail won't do her any good- this is why parents have to really RAISE their children, and not assume society will do the job for them..

Are you saying that it doesn't "Take a Village" as "some" suggest?

Bobby- I met you and your sons down here at SIR with MY sons.. All I can hope is that I do as good a job with mine as you have done with yours... The "Village" concept is great for overall observation, but it's ALL about the foundation from THE HOME, man... But I don't have to explain that to you....

Somebody PLEASE explain to me how you can be on probation, screw up bad enough to have some judge throw your ass in the can, and then, BEFORE you even serve ONE DAY, you get your sentance cut in half for "good behavior"? What "behavior" has she been judged upon already? That she hasn't run somebody over this week???

Like Martin says above. What if she had killed half of a family, leaving the other half devestated and in pain for every day of the rest of their "mundane lives"? She violated her probation by making the same "mistake" more than once? Who would have any sympathy for her? Talk about not appreciating your position in life!

I've said for years that a drunk driving conviction should carry the same sentence as attempted murder. If you make it home without killing someone, it was by no reason other than dumb luck. Why should one person get a manslaughter conviction just because they were unlucky in their "mistake" while everyone else from the same night of DUIs/DWIs gets the usual?
