Well the $cum Bag$ are at it again! Those dirty bums that need their drugs and don't give a damn about anyone but themselves ripped Doug Rose's heart out by stealing the man's jet car and trailer. Those dirty scumbags.....

I sure hope he gets it back and they start putting these dirty rotten $cum Bag$ in jail where they need to be. As long as society is soft on crime this crap will continue.

Oh well, This really sucks for Doug!!

I have an old video tape with him telling the story about stabbing a knife into his leg at a restaurant in front of the waitress, on purpose!!! (fake leg) I’ve never met him face to face but he seems like a neat person.

I hope they find his car and the guys who took it.

Yeah I read that on DRO too and I'm quite tee'd off at it. First of all, who's stupid enough to steal a jet dragster? Not exactly something you could take for a joyride and the racing community is way too tightly knit for them to be able to sell it. Maybe they'll strip it for parts, but again, who'd be the buyer?

That car was one of my favourite jet cars - I have scrapbooks full of pictures of it. I remember at the last race at Edmonton International Speedway (1982) they brought the car up, he did the smoke and fire show then "idled" it down to half-track, turned it around then drove back to the line, turned around again and then laid down a killer pass. I was standing at the fence and I still remember the instant sunburn from the jet blast... :) :mad:

The only good news is that there probably isn't a big market for selling hot jet cars.
 
I with you on the cant read DRO. I cant find anything on there really other than just reading the agents report thats it.

I met him a couple times but it's been probably close to 20 years ago and I was fairly young. I remember the announcer saying he was 4'6" without his legs and 6'4" with them. :D I always loved watching that car run because he always seemed to lay down some great passes.

Speaking of the green mamba, how come I never see it at any races? Last time I saw it was chained to a bunch of cars and was burning them to the ground.
 
Brent, let's not kid our selves...mild steal will kill you. A jet should be made out of chromemolly.
