Can't have it both ways. One is Fox the other is every single minute of the race just like you were there. They both have limitations, no it's not perfect but do you want to see all of Pro Stock or not? Plus you get all kinds of extra's, behind the scenes, driver and crew chief interviews, etc, etc, etc.
It could be close to perfect as alot of us have complained FOR YEARS about the quality sounds of the cars, but they rufuse to do anything to correct it,remember about a year ago costello said we are in for a treat with nhratv and car sounds, and yet a year later nothing has changed,im not paying for that kind of service.

Yea no thx,not with that awful sound of the cars and loud announcers
I have never had this issue with any of the live feeds. This is my third season watching and I love it. It works out great for me with always being on the go. If I can’t make the live viewings, the past showings are amazing. You can fast forward, rewind, etc as needed. I can even watch it on my phone.

I have it setup on the Roku TV in the garage, and at home as well on a Sony tv platform. Never had any issues for that sort. The only real issues I have had, is synching issues where the sound is ahead of the action. This only happened twice in three seasons. I e-mailed tech support and they replied very quick and let me know that it was an actual on site equipment issue that they were resolving. I refreshed the app a little while later and the issue was fixed.

Maybe try it again? I really enjoy it. It shows everything unlike the live TV broadcast.

I never was a big fan of PS. After hearing Tony Stewart's recent comments after he tested one, my eyes have opened a bit.

PS may well be more of a driver's class than nitro. Big skill to drive a nitro car, but the precision needed to win in PS is significant.

More side by side, close races in PS than in 80% of the nitro races. Way too many tires going up in smoke, motors blowing, etc., there.

That said, I got drawn to drag racing as a 15 year old at a drag strip in SoCal in the early 60's watching front-engined fuel dragsters. You cannot beat the visceral excitement of nitro cars.

Keep PS around. Maybe make the cars look more like what we buy so the manufacturers get back onboard

well, IHRA advertises NHRA factory stockers as Pro Stock.
any opinions out there regarding running combinations of PS, MMPS, and PM at the same event?
IMO only one really fast doorslammer class is needed per national event, unless a given class is self funded and doesn't care
if spectators vacate bleachers when they run. then on top of that, if TS is running, there's another very fast doorslammer class with
arguably the best variety of body styles.

I have not seen the mass exodus at an IHRA event as at a NHRA event when door cars come up. Seems to me more real fans as opposed to casual fans wanting to watch the nitro circus. NHRA promotes the nitro and it works for them very well. I know the smaller fields and more classes keep it interesting and a greater variety of racing.
Oh and there are more than just Camaros running.................

Yes, they are all fast door slammers, and to the casual fan, they are mostly all the same. The problem is, the hardcore fan, and the racers themselves know there are some large differences.

You can say the same about other classes. FC and TAFC look the same to the casual fan. TF and TAD; Fuel Altereds are basically funny cars with a different body on them; could keep going on down.

The nice thing about drag racing is there is a class for nearly everyone at nearly any budget. The bad thing about drag racing is that there is a class for everyone at nearly any budget…

Not sure you can fix the mess that NHRA has made of pro Camaro/GM over the last few years, with GM killing the Camaro and Dodge pulling there muscle car models for the fore see able future, even the switch to factory stock which is way closer to what made pro stock the factory hot rods that were so fun to fallow, same problem with there new models not being sold in future, I lost interest when they finally ran Dodge off taking away rpm that killed there combo and saying fix your horsepower problem by putting GM motors in your Ford or Dodge, don’t think GM would have been happy being told to make there motors not look as powerful as Ford or Dodge not what the class was supposed to be, want to run any combo, comp eliminator is for that, the other problem is factory support is gone from Ford and Dodge with rules that don’t allow them to be competitive and GM, Dodge pulling pony cars models, I can only hope that GM and Dodge reverse there knee jerk run to electric models, the performance of electric vehicles is very impressive, just don’t want them shoved down my throat

The nice thing is IHRA is back and y’all are doing a great job. See you in Columbus!
