I had forgotten about this until I looked at Davids Pictures today. At a race this summer I overheard another fan that was sitting behind me in the stands ask this question. I never thought abou it before that but thought it was interesting.
Why do drivers take their kids on the stage sometimes when they're introduced in opening ceremonies? Never seen a single one of them take their wives out there, so the excuse that it's a family sport is right out the window.
