I just received an e-mail from NHRA about off track insurance to insure my racing equipment and racing vehicles when not in use. Its offered by wells fargo.
So i go to their website and fill out their questioner but it asked for personal info before i had a chance to see any rates.
(I hate giving personal info out before I have a chance to see what they are offering me)
does any body have this coverage or know anything about it or , are their rates reasonable ?????
Any help would be appreciated

I don't know much about the wells fargo deal. However, if you are looking to insure your racing operation, I have a suggestion. I use Gulfway Insurers which is run by Pro Mod Racer Mel Eaves. I've been with them for quite a while and have had no complaints and Mel is a great guy. They really know what they are doing when it comes off track insurance. I would think they know more about this type of thing than wells fargo. Here is a link to their website: Gulfway Insurers - A Leader in the Specialty Insurance Industry

Hope this helps.

I haven't done the math in a long time, but I recall Eave's insurance formula working something like this:

Rough example:
$100k of insurance
%5 deductible
Annual premium somewhere in the $1k range
If you live in a Hurricane area you must move the equipment if possible (I think a Hurricane is the only type of threat were this is invoked)

He is very nice to talk to, sorry I don't recall exacts or more recent stuff on the pricing. I'm inflow, my wife is outflow . . .
