LOL, Your blaming me for being ignorant for posting on a thread titled November 4, 2014. So I posted about the Election on November 4, 2014. It did not say anywhere in the title "November 4, 2014, The get out and vote thread" Did It?

And then you told me to read the thread. I read every posting on here and even posted about voting. But that was prior to the election. After the election It seems kind of dumb to talk get out and vote. But since the thread was titled November 4, 2014. I thought I would keep it going by posting my thoughts on the election results.

Somehow out of that you said I'm Ignorant and you blamed me (A typical Republican move BTW) so the question is, Who is Ignorant? You for not titling the post correctly and putting it in the heading NHRA. or Me for posting my thoughts on a thread titled November 4, 2014?

I understand you may not like what I had to say and that is your right, Just as it is my right to say it. But I never called you names or belittled you. I just post my thoughts, asked questions and stated facts.

work hard and earn a living so you can either participate in or spectate drag racing,
or rely on the gov't. for hand outs and stay home and watch TV.
no one party is going to effect your livelihood. my last 6 years have been just a good if not better than the previous 8
and i tend to lean a little rite of center.

My main beef isn't so much with the politicians, which have been less than stellar for years on both side of the aisle. It's with the voters and where they get their, IMHO, biased news. I try to stay with what I consider unbiased news sources and stay away from the editorial pages

Jesse, where in the title does it say this is a get out and vote thread? It says November 4, 2014. I was commenting on the cluster ">?K that happened on November 4th. And just for the record its not part of my political agenda its facts.

Republicans want to go to war. History has shown that. They want to control a woman's rights, History has shown that also. They want no gun controls. They HATE Obama because hes black. They want to go back to a failed economy as was the economy under George Bush. Republicans never say they were wrong or take the blame for anything its always someone else's fault. So I was just stating facts. I'm sure you can understand that or are you just going to blame someone else?

However if this is "Just a get out and vote thread" then perhaps it too should have been in a political forum. November 4th had very little to do with NHRA, but hey you put it there.

John, you should study a little history of our country before posting the lefts dirvle. Who got us into WW2, Korean war, Vietnam, etc.

The stuff you posted is Dem PR ment only for extremely ignorant people, to get them to vote the left. Even "smart" libs, don't believe anything you posted, and neither do the people who wrote it.

Surely this is how special interests win, they pit me against you. I think everyone on this board, of both political stripes, realize this country has problems. What those problems are might be different based on your views, but surely there is common ground. I myself am to the left of center. I live in the "hotbed" of liberalism, the Northeast, but grew up in the midwest, known for being conservative., so I see both sides of the argument. This is why I feel an informed electorate is important. Sadly, we don't get this now-a-days. Used to be there was not much difference between a Republican and a Democrat. Both were rather centrist.
