I'm not complaining that the Harley's haven't been hit with a penalty yet, but Rickie Smith got hit with one in no time at all. What gives? Seems even more unfair to Rickie now than it did before.
I really hope that they do not penalize them. Hey, it was all the other teams whining that forced NHRA to make the rule change that made the Harleys switch back to 2-valve motors. Besides, you've gotta admit that it's nice to see a bike win that doesn't sound like a super loud sewing machine!

It just doesn't kea since no one else can run Harley's ,that's my problem with it,their just sandbagging like before. What if only force could run fords or kalitta Toyotas
It has always been this way, the team with the most money usually runs up front. Last year when the HD was behind they NHRA didn't add weight to the Buells, they told the HD team to work harder and get your bikes quicker. They have done this and now people want them to be penalized. Hector Jr was running in the same zip code as the Harley's so I don't think they will get any weight added yet.No one can match the amount of money H-D is pouring into this deal, so my guess will be a weight penalty coming soon. It is needed.

Why not allow non Harley's to change the size then? I agree the Harley's have worked their butts off.
I just always want to know the field is level rule wise. Then may the luckiest, hardest working, smartest, richest, whateverest do the winning from there
