Rickie Smith Is Back In Canada

Rickie Smith and Skull Gear Chevrolet Cobalt will be making his way back to Canada yet again as the MOPAR Canadian Nationals presented by Castrol roll into Grand Bend, Ontario Canada this weekend.

Last time out in Edmonton, Canada Smith qualified in the tenth position and advanced to the second round before spark plug failure resulted in a round two loss. Even though he has never raced at this track before, Smith is confident and ready to run at Grand Bend.

“We tested this past week at Rockingham,” said Smith. “We changed a few things and ran whether well; hopefully it will pay off this weekend. We’ve got our work cut out for us to reach the top guys right now, but anything is possible when you qualify.”

Qualifying kicks off on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and eliminations on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
