A few weeks ago, the $100,000 fine against DSR was one of the biggest controversies ever. And now . . . dead silence. Was a settlement reached or did NHRA realize they were wrong and ask DSR to let this quietly die?

Having said that, my understanding is that DSR has filed an appeal, and they are now working out the panel that will hear it and the date it will be heard.

"Working out the panel" - Who is going to decide who sits on this Kangaroo Court? I'll nominate Evan Knoll, Max Mosely and Bernie Eccelstone - the fine will either go away or be increased to $100,000,000 -

The rule book spells out a very careful appeals procedure, with a method for defining the panel. Both sides have to approve the members.
