I just want to thank Kenny Koretsky for rethinking his fate in the class. LE deserves to be racing and sooner or later these "politics" will be worked out.
Not sure where you got that KK rethought his "fate in the class"....seems to me he is just wants to lend a hand to a family/race team that he truely cares about while at the same time getting NF some cheap exposure (notice that it was a major associate sponsorship).
He backed out publicly being quoted that he felt that the class was a lost cause when the Harley's just basically can show up and take the trophy home. Still no matter how small it is between other sponsors and the amount of cash they will donate to the program, this "little deal" must be huge enough to fill a whole that keeps them out. KK runs a business and I would think the point is not about x amount of dollars and is more about doing what he feels is right for the company and what brings back the best return on investment.
i'll go with sales
It's obvious from your response that you did not read the article or what I wrote, but then again, what's new? LOL![]()
.....and I'm not wrong for having a different opinion that you, i'm allowed thank you very much.
Is there a chance that this has nothing to do with your view of KK not rethinking is offer and just wanting to sponsor a team for some "cheap" money? Yea, you could be right.
you're welcome
And here lies proof that you still didn't read (or comprehend) what I wrote.....unbelieveable!
You know, you're right Patrick! KK did "rethink his fate in the class" as you put it....that's why he broke out the checkbook and came ROARING back in as an ASSOCIATE sponsor for THREE races. Maybe you can pick up the sarcasm there![]()
I found this article interesting:
Q&A: Kenny Koretsky, NHRA Team Owner | Drag Illustrated
Note what KK said in the 1st paragraph about Tonglet, and keep in mind that this interview was done prior to the beginning of the season.
