Hello everyone! I haven't posted in forever. However I know the members here love classic drag racing. On the 36th anniversary of the debut of NHRA Today, I have posted as complete of an archive that I have. I'm missing 21 of the 514 episodes, but if I find them, I'll fill in the blanks. WOW! Just subscribed to your youtube channel today. Their are enough Nhra Today's there to get into real trouble wasting time while you should be doing something important. Edit: I know I watched some of those live, were they on Diamond P Sports?

The first race I ever ran in TA/FC was the 1991 Winternationals at Pomona right after I licensed, and my car wasn't even painted yet. I actually qualified in the top 16 as a total newby without a clue even though there were around 30 cars entered. We showed up early the day after qualifying to get the car ready for first round, and to our surprise the Diamond P Sports TNN film crew with Bob Frey were waiting for us in our pit on their golf cart. Here's the result.

My guys told me it was carrying the front end about 3 to 4" in the air, and didn't come down until I was forced to lift.

Randy, I remember seeing your beautiful Goodwin & Swayne funny at the Winters. I think many of us would love to see pictures of some of your other cars , same for Mike K. and any others !

Boy, Steve Evans and Bob Frey on NHRA today. Those were the days. And a cameo appearance at the end by J. Force, with a much leaner, streamlined version of Austin Coil also on the couch.

That was a cool video. I miss Steve Evans. Was also cool to see Rick Santos. At one time, he had a screw blower on that little Chevy engine, think that combo went 5.69.
