Points scoring changes announced for NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series

NHRA has made some adjustments to how drivers in the NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series can earn points towards a world championship.

NHRA posted this change today. Recently Stevie Fast Jackson told Comp Plus that, to address the parity issues in Pro Mod, NHRA should start awarding qualifying points. This should stop racers with advantaged power combinations from sandbagging during qualifying. Looks like NHRA listened ! Hats off to both parties for trying to make things more even.
