I was wondering what the national event payouts are for # 1 qualifier, 1st round, 2nd round, semis, r/u, and win as well as the top 10 program. Is it still as follows. $3,000 # 1 qualifier, 10,000 rd. 1, 14,000 rd. 2, 18,000 round 3, 22,000 for r/u, 53,000 to win and 20,000 each event you are in the top ten? Thank you

Holy crap I don't think those have ever been the payouts. 20k just for being in the top 10?

I just found that it was 2,000 per race as of 2009 not 20,000. Even if it was...the ball park puts $80,000 on a car making 8 runs. Even if they qualify # 1 and win and make the top ten I am sure it's still not even close to breaking even. Hence, sponsors.
