NHRA must be hurting

i personally feel that the renewal policy is quite stupid. i think it is unfair for them to sit on my money for 8 months collecting interest. maybe if some kind of discount was given up front, but the way they do it is ridiculous. i used to send it in early, but i've come to learn that buying tickets before knowing weather, etc is a waste. especially when the glendora fat cats suck down filet mignon with the interest....

i'd be interested to see what the ticket deposits for all events at, say 3-5% interest would add up to through the course of the year....

I told my wife about this-(she manages the subscription dept of a small, off Broadway theater)-she said thats pretty normal. They start selling tickets for next season in Oct-and have to be ordered by Dec 1st. to keep your seats. The season is from April to Dec-so thats between 6+ 12 months.

Joe,Lynn , leave some room in the pics to photshop me in.;) I wont be at gVille this time around. Work commitments etc. I will be doing the ADRL in April @ South Georgia Motorsports Park. Admission is free for everyone. One ticket covers the whole event. If you call their office they will send you all the tickets you want. :)

Awww...I'll miss you and Queen Ann! I'd love to make the ADRL in April, but I'm not sure that's going to happen with the world up in the air these days...

I wasn't too thrilled about the early deadline for tickets this year - it was tough enough when it was the end of November. Now? Geez...

and it will be as long as the suckers continue to toss their money their way. hopefully one thing that will come out of the sour economy is the return to fair customer relations (meaning you can pay maybe a couple months ahead, but no need to pay damn near a year ahead.)
