Attention in the pits, Attention in the pits! Race Fans listen up, this announcement is for you!

The first annual Mid South Bracket Nationals is just two days away.

Over $100,000 is on the line this weekend in Memphis AND to beat the summer heat, we're racing at night!

The pre race press conference is tomorrow from 10-2 at Hooters of Wolfchase in Memphis. If you’re in the area, bring your hot rod and put it on display for the fans and Memphis media. For everyone eating that day, the Hooters girls will wash your car!
Test and Tune is tomorrow night at the track. $25 and you get as many shots at the track as possible from 6-10. No pit parking is allowed by the track on Thurs, but we will be able to park in the spectator side [west side] overnight.

Gates open on Friday and Saturday at 10 am central, Run for the Money time trials start at 2, eliminations begin at 5:30. Looks as if we'll only have 2 rounds of eliminations before it cools down at night. Sunday cranks up when the gates open at 9.
Run for the money is $10 for the Main Events in both categories and is based on the dial-in. Closest to their dial in the Compulink wins that day's entry fee and the first round bye.

At the gate when you get to the track you get your tech card. Complete it and turn it into the tech inspection stand at the far end of the track. There you will get your run card and sign the waivers. Anyone requiring restricted area access must sign the waiver.

Run cards will be Punch cards and they will be color coded so only come to the lanes when your groups' color is called. Anyone in the red group coming to the lanes when the blue group is called will be politely redirected back to the pits. Run cards must be punched at the back of the lanes. Don’t go the front of the lanes without having your card punched first. Front of the lanes will double check to make sure your card was punched. DO NOT lose your run card, it is your entry into the staging lanes and your receipt of entry fees for the day/weekend.

Wristbands will be issued at the gate for anyone associated with a race team. They must be worn and visible the entire weekend. If they are not visible, then track officials will ask the person to go to the gate to pay the proper admission price/entry fee.

Wristbands and hand stamps will be required to re-enter the track.

Double entries will be given different color coded run cards to spread the entry into different groups.

Buybacks are first or second round if less than 150 cars. Buybacks are in Announcer's suite of the Crossover tower behind the burn out box.

Crosstalk and Autostart are in effect this weekend. Drivers are the final authority over their dial in. Check the scoreboard before you stage. If you stage your hot rod, then it’s assumed by track officials that you accept the dial in on the board. Autostart times out after 12 seconds.

The PA system at MMP broadcasts on FM 100.3 so set your radio when you get to the track.

We developed these procedures with input from bracket racing veterans and are meant for your safety and to promote a fast paced exciting atmosphere at every TRW Motorsports event.

Finally, racers, we might have a nice crowd on hand for you to race in front of as we printed up 5,000 spectator tickets and they were distributed over 9 different radio stations.
