NHRA and Harley announcement

I figured it out, they're announcing that they're selling one to George Bryce! LMAO :D

I'm sure it involves more money in Glendora's bank account and guaranteed exclusivity for Harley team parts...

Yes it does, NHRA needs to be proactive and stop taking checks to tilt the racing. They want naming rights let them have it. I am not a fan of making them uncompetitive, I am a fan of an equal class and if the NHRA does not step up to the plate, as I heard first hand, expect more to leave.

I was hoping NHRA was gonna make a "Top Bike" class for all Harleys. And Leave PSM for the other "Inferior" bikes.

Don't see why they take Harley money with Suzuki and Kawasaki contributing so much.
People seem to forget-when Suzuki was the official motorcycle of NHRA, they gave a half dozen pit bikes to the officials. When asked if they wanted to step up with sponsorship, they reply was (totally paraphrasing) that nothing modern of theirs was racing-so it would do nothing to boost sales. And this was when they had 100% of the class.
Love them or hate them ( and I certiantly don't love them) without HD, PS/B probably would have gone the way of M/P + PS/T.

Harley is far exceeding what anyone gives. I'm all for an all-harley class cause I am having a hard time watching the "let's see what team does the best ALMOST beating the Harley" that it is now. See when Suzuki was paying suzuki has the best combo in the class.

My point is not about who's paying what it's that it's sad that the NHRA would let anyone buy a time slip. Only naming rights should be for sale. I had enough of this crap.

The Japanese oems are not interested in PSM because it is vintage racing. It would do nothing for sales. Harley® on the other hand still makes new vintage motorcycles.
