Why argue about the old days? NOTHING stays the same folks. Part of the excitement of drag racing through the decades was always the constant possibility of records and barriers being broken. That can't go on forever. We just can't have 400mph 1/4 mile runs, safely. It's evolution. And "puttering" on 90% is not what big show cars do, IMO. Myself, I'm trying to enjoy it all. There's so much variety out there to enjoy, the NHRA, IHRA, the fuel altered circuits, the different Pro Mod Series', and of course the huge Nostalgia craze. Oh and speaking of Pro Mod, the number of these cars out there is amazing, and they are wild. Combine all this with the crazy cars coming out of Detroit, and I'd say these just may be "the good old days". Enjoy them.

It continues to be a Broken record, its not enough to be a Nostalgia Drag race fan. You have to Trash today's Drag racing at the same time.

NHRA is really missing the boat by not including Pro Mod as a Pro class. They are extremely exciting and the fans would probably come just to see them run. But this is nothing new, NHRA has missed the boat many times in the past and until the people in Glendora get their heads out of their axxxxx nothing is going to change expecially adding a class that people really like.

NHRA will not have 2 Doorslammer Pro classes, ain't happening! the fans come to see them regardless what category they run in!

You would think as long as that has been that stipulation had expired maybe someone could shed some liģht on this.

New team with seasoned members? Lance used to work with Millican a lot....Could it be the Millican/Tuttle experiment is done? They certainly under achieved this year to be sure. Just wondering.

That would explain Pro Stock cars lasting as long as they have. Wonder when the time limit is up.?

100 N/TF Dragsters? The CHRR had just 17, but comparing 240-250 MPH Nostalgia cars to the Big show is a pretty Lame comparison.

Speaking of new teams...it's nice to see alcohol funny car driver Shane Westerfield driving his first race in a nitro car in Worshams car. He is a good kid and a good driver.
