Still early, I would expect a test session between now and Houston to help get the car sorted out. I wonder if Bender will come on full time to assist Smith? Need to get the car to peak the last 1/3 of the year to bring home the big prize. Bender and Smith showed at the end of last year they had a good tune up.

Many crew chief's are accustomed to working with a certain tune-up, certain parts and pieces. This is the problem when changing tuners during the season. We'll see what happens, but just my opinion, it may take longer to get the car to the level Mr. Bernstein expects. I'm sure he is ok with this too...

As I understand the car was back halved, the engine placement changed, changed the type of wheelie bar, and Todd brought in parts he was more accustomed to. I would assume the parts he was bringing in were similar to what he and Donnie were using last year, I could be wrong though.

Looks like the parts and pieces are starting to come together. Hopefully the weather will hold..........
