I got the new Eagles CD and it's great. But it has the same old criticism about development and commecialism. But I wouldn't take it seriously as they sold out to WalMart as that's the only place you can by the CD. Love the music, hate the hypococrisy. (hope I spelled that right)

I hear that, Rich. 'Get Over It' had a few of the same.

I've always liked the Eagles.

The new cd has a few bitter songs about the "good old USA" and yet here the Eagles give in to a monopoly scheme to obviously make more money. It's a company that the left and progressives like Don Henley absolutely hates! I'd think the idea of selling the cd exclusively to WalMart would be enough to break up the Eagles again! I'm on the right and I think it's a bad thing to do but here's the most liberal band in America selling out to corporate greed. They will sell less CDs I'm sure!

BTW the title song is worth going TO WALMART and buying. It's a great cd. It's just their actions are louder than the words on the CD.

They played here in London (we are here on vacation) last night. The reviews I saw in the paper we positive. They played to only about 2300 people and h first 4 songs were each sung by different band member.

I bought it last evening. It's playing in my office right now, in fact. I've learned to wade through the political rhetoric and innuendos and just listen to the quality of the performers and their musical talent. The Eagles have never made a crappy song in my opinion and their concerts rank among my favorites ever. I believe Henley to be one of the best lyricists of my lifetime.
