NASCAR Racers cat fight like little girly men

Ambrose got Mears with a pretty good right. Problem with fights neither one wants to get hurt or loose points, they're trying to stay in chase.

Because the John Force and Tony Pedregon "fight" at Indy was manly.

The Ambrose/Mears deal was back in May, but yeah Mears got what he deserved. Generally NASCAR drivers have more people looking after them in terms of potential suspensions and penalties. Funny thing is the "fight" isn't really that big of a deal anymore, tonight in Charlotte more people are P/O'd about the Panthers Bengals finishing in a tie.

I remember an incident between Jeff Gordon and Mike Bliss after the Chicagland race in 2005 where Bliss wrecked Gordon and supposedly the two of them were at the same airport getting on separate planes for Charlotte. The only thing that is known is that at the following weekends race Mike Bliss was sporting the remnants of a pretty nice shiner.

That whole deal between the trailers looked scripted to me. For Kenseth to go flying up to him in the rage he appeared to be in and get nothing more accomplished than a few hugs..................wow. And if it actually WASN'T fake, that's even more embarrassing.

I wondered the same thing. I only saw the "highlights" but it seemed like an odd place for a camera to be hiding out.

If Keselowski finishes the race at Talladega we will know it was all WUSS.

Generally speaking, it is understood amongst the drivers that Talladega (and Daytona) is not a place to settle scores. Too fast and it would take out too many cars. No one will tolerate someone intentionally starting "the big one".

No doubt that ABC/ESPN had a camera ready at the hauler to follow Keselowski. Right place, right time.

Agreed. I bet, other than Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney (in a 3rd Penske car this week), and maybe a few others, you won't see him get a whole lot of drafting help this week. I bet he gets dumped at Martinsville though.

I don't think many of the past racers would agree with this comment.

First to come to my mind is Jimmy Spenser who would kick your ass if you looked at him the wrong way. Most drivers had the sense not to mess with him either on the track or in person.

I think the past racers would be the FIRST ones agree with this! LOL!! If it was for NASCAR drivers in general, maybe. But that was directed at the circus that went down this past weekend.

There was no hiding, only one camera guy followed the whole action from Denny and Brad bumping each other through the Garage all the way through Keselowski and Kenseth.

I guess its easy to pick a fight when you have a dozen or so 230 lb crewmen right behind you.
I think you mean it's easy to run into a competitors car when you know you have 230lb. former football players covering your back.
