Tire and wheel from the McGee Bros quad cam top fuel car.

I told Chris and Phil I was looking for one to make a coffee table with and they gave me this.

Just spent a little time cleaning it this morning, so I too a few shots.

Dave; I have had this for about 12 years. no smell.

As for taking it home, no need. My wife designed our building and I got an incredible office. She said I deserved it. I have all my cool stuff there. Including this;

My wife is really into this stuff. But then what do you expect from a lady who's daily driver is a Caddy CTS-V
 
Thats cool, First time I saw a drag racing tire table was a Ronnie Sox's house in Burlington,NC back in 1973. Firestone Drag 500 on a Keystone wheel but with a small stand to elevate it.

Dave Grubnic was working for the McGees and driving the car when I got the wheel. Dave used to grind my cams when he worked there.
 
No, but when Dale Armstrong got one of those motors, everyone panicked. That was the beginning of the end for them.
