I'm a coffee fanatic! My fave is 'French Market Coffee with Chickory'. It's expensive, but so is all the other good stuff in life. I blend it with evaporated milk as the creamer. Ahhhh....

I'll give your Dunkin' Donuts coffee a shot if you'll try a can of my French Market coffee. You'll find it at 'better' grocers or at French Market Coffee : Home . ;)

LOL, I was in a convenience store the other month and pumped some "Lake and Lodge" coffee out of a canister. I closed my eyes, took a sip, then told the clerk "It's not working for me. I still have the sensation of being in a shopping center with "No Truck Parking" signs all around me!" :D I must not know how to drink gourmet coffee properly.

I heard that the DD deal was a trial to see the results from the race sponsorship. If you like the DD stuff tell them and also that you saw the DD dragsters at Gainesville.Maybe this will help with sponsorships, which we all know are hard to come by these days.

I've turned into a real Coffee snob, so much so that for X-mas and my birthday I asked for and recieved several pounds of Kona Coffee (100% not the 10% blend you can get at the store). My son laughed his butt off a couple of weeks ago, we had been discussing getting a PS3 or X-Box360. He asked me what I was getting for my Birthday and I told him Coffee and two pair of Oakley Sneaks. He said, boy, that's too bad, you should have told them you wanted a console, and I informed him that I had picked out those gifts myself. His answer was that he hoped he never got as old as me....
When on the road I want my DD.....I take a couple of pounds with us when we go out. At home we have a DD on one corner and a Tim Horton's on the other, I drink DD and my wife drinks Tim's. So it's always a two stop coffee run.

Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled discussion.

just kind of changing the direction of this, but for all the pr and publicity, you would think David Powers, Beard or someone else would have been on the line for at least one of the runs. from my understanding, Zach will not be able to compete in national events until he turns 18. just odd nobody was down on the line.

Yeah, and originally from CT too.

You mean you gave up CT for Wegmans?

BTW, the French have been the second largest force in Afghanistan, after us. They weren't with us on Iraq, but they've been good friends in Afghanistan.

My wife and I travelled to Paris for my birthday late last Novemebr - I've not travelled a lot but, the folks I met couldn't be nicer - I'm so glad they're coming around on the political front

Of course, given the amount of armor he provided them and the number of troops he originally sent into Iraq (before the surge), I not convinced Bush was all that great a supporter of our troops in Iraq either. it took firing Rumsfeld and appointing Yates to start to get that effort right-too bad he listened to Rumsfeld (civilian) as opposed to Shinseki (Army General) in terms of the number of troops he sent to Iraq.
True dat
And speaking of supporting our troops, a very big round of applause for Hillary Will for going overseas to visit our fighting guys and gals

GREAT FOR HER - A great thing to do during the break!
Back on Topic: Actually, I thought Hilary might get the DD sponsorship. Her early Blog entries were full of her love for the coffee and the (proxy) Wawa stuff
.
Go Hil Will!

im a big coffee drinker, i think making dunkin donuts coffee at home is better than buying it in the store. i met my wife at dunkin donuts- true story- and when we got married , at the head table we toasted champagne from dunkin donut cups. :) suport your local dunkin donuts! oh yeah- 8 o'clock flavored coffee by the bag is great coffee too.

in Rhode Island you pass a DD about as often as you pass a tree.
DD makes really unremarkable coffee. They rarely make bad coffee. They
never make good coffee. Never.
Buying DD coffee retail? Are you out of your mind?
Buy the cheapest available grounds at the grocery store, increase the
dosage by 50%, and you will have a cup as good as anything sold at DD.

That said, seeing the DD logo on the Meyer/Harker car at G-ville was
excellent.
Just don't ask me to drink the Kool Aid...

my wife and i have converted to dd coffee, either french vanilla or hazelnut, the regular stuff isn't that great...we buy it at the dd shops and usually get 2 lbs for $12...walgreens has 12oz bags for 5.99...we brew two heaping tablespoons to 8oz of water...and of course the water in colorado is fantastic which helps:)
