Unless I'm misreading it, this says that it's the end of the line for the 6th generation, not the Camaro altogether.

Also says in the article that the 6th Gen Camaro will maintain its presence in all forms of motorsports that it is currently campaigned in. Sounds to me like this just means you won't be able to go to your local Chevy dealership and pick one up anymore.
