The reason this is happening is because the Impala body weighs more than the Ford and Chrysler bodies and they have a horrible problem of cracking during the runs, almost every run cracks propogate up on the body and your required to do a carbon repair....Id really like to see GM redesign the body though and come out with a good looking and durable body like the other manufacturers have done.

There were a few Mustangs back then.. Gary Clapshaw is the first one I think of from that same time. Gordie Bonin had a Mustang on the Smokin Joes car before Whit got it.
