Good read. Made me wonder if the actions Darana Hybrid has filed are for itself only, itself and subcontractors, or subcontractors only. Also I wonder if any subcontractors have filed actions of their own against Darana, SpaceX, or both?
This might drag out for two or three years.
Long time lurker and first-time poster. Has anyone been able to find anything regarding Darana filing a response to the allegations filed by XAI? I believe by law, Darana had 30 days to file a response. The original filing was 8/4/2026. So, it should be in the docket by now and I have not been able to find anything. I am technology challenged so I could be too stupid to find it. I am very interested in the response. We have heard one side and I certainly want to see the response. If they requested more time, I would assume there would have to be a filing for that?

I am not law savvy but IIRC Darana filed first for unpaid work and XAI responded. Again not sure how it legally works if Darana responds again or not.
I could also be wrong, but I thought it was 2 different cases, in different courts, but also not law savvy. Learning on the fly. lol. Having been involved in drag racing for 40 years, I dove down this rabbit hole and am fascinated. I was semi involved with IHRA when IRG bought them and watched it crash. That broke my heart. Prior to this debacle, I firmly believed that IRG was the single biggest damage to drag racing in my lifetime. 58 yrs. I hope this situation is worked out and IRG stays on top of the loser list, but it certainly does not look good.

Kenny took over Rockingham 4-6 weeks ago. How he got involved again is anybody’s guess.This is interesting. I didn't know Kenny had anything to do with this.
