Sunoco is only sold east of the Mississippi. Now if Sunoco was available in all states instead of just 24. Maybe the advertising would help the growth of NHRA.
Sorry, but the rumor of NHRA selling its Pro classes makes no sense at all. I could see maybe selling NHRA as a whole organization, but remember this is a not for profit organization and I'm not sure how that would take place. Wally might strike a bolt of lighting on that deal.![]()
Why to would you want FELD to have it? they sold of IHRA because they couldnt make it work for them
Tom Compton new boat that he can sit on on Sundays so he doesn't have to watch racing!yes John and that 1M is going toward increase payouts to the racers !! LOL![]()
Did anyone know POWERade before it was named only the second NHRA series sponsor on Dec. 3, 2001? Then it grew in market share and awareness.
I knew of it, but didn't try it until they became a sponsor. Now, whenever I purchase sports drinks it is Powerade.Did anyone know POWERade before it was named only the second NHRA series sponsor on Dec. 3, 2001? Then it grew in market share and awareness.
Basically Sunoco is replacing VP as the official fuel of NHRA. No big deal, was anyone worried about finding a VP station?
Exactly. I've never seen a VP station. If Sunoco does do some store displays and such that it is a bonus.
Used to get Sunoco gas in Oklahoma when I was kid. Definitely west of the Missippi in those days. Kept my 13:1 street motor alive with their 100 octane "pump" gas.
