May the Force be with you

Lets see---133 NHRA victories, 15 championships, another 2 as a car owner, owner of one of the best teams drag racing has ever seen, married to a good looking lady and father of 4 beautiful daughters, and a self made millionaire thru the sport of drag racing----Gawd---ya gotta at least feel sorry for the poor b*stard. After all, maybe he could have been a key board crewchief if he had tried a little harder.

I know right what a douche. Either way i can dislike whoever i want.

All this anti-Force sentiment, but I find it humorous when a Force driver is late on the tree against a team car all the Force haters scream "team orders" and "taking a dive". Johnny Gray's .101 light against Capps didn't bring a single comment...hmmmm

Because the Force team drivers are legit contenders every week where as it's more common for the DSR cars to get out of the groove or the drivers to have bad lights. :p:p:p

I love this post. :)

I certainly understand the loyalty to one team, and rooting harder for them, but I guess I just don't understand the idea of wishing bad on another team, even if you don't like them. Maybe it's just because I see things from a different perspective, but I know how hard it is just to get one car ready to go racing. I can't even imagine what it's like to try and field four cars in a single class.

+1
I never have understood the d-bags that wish bad on another team.

Doesnt the very nature of a drag draw lines in the sand. One driver advances, 1 loads up. I am not hurting anyone by having a favorite and 15 drivers I want to lose on Sunday. There needs to be more passion and less ppl saying "300pm...awwww...thats cool" JFR dominance vs. DSR trying to equal it and the other FC teams as well makes FC great. While I respect the hard work and wins of JFR, I also hope they lose first rd. If that makes me a d-bag then I guess I am a d-bag. I still love the sport.

driving down the road behind his trailers......... love it

My first question is...where were the trailers seen and on what highway? This post was listed at 1:41 PM, EDT I suppose. Funny car round one wasn't even over until right at 2:00 PM EDT due to the 48 minute oil down in TF. Unless you were driving down the pit return road, which runs right behind the Force team trailers.

Most of the JFR haulers left Mon morning, except for Brittany and Robert Hights Haulers and Johns bus. They were still there when I left at 6:00 Mon evening.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Can anyone imagine NHRA Championship Drag Racing WITHOUT John Force Racing? For 'em or 'agin 'em - I'm glad John, the Don, and Connie are still out there!

maybe someone saw the 'roadshow' trailer leaving (i believe i saw it there
on one of the youtube qual. videos); which if that's the case, john is as
usual going above and beyond duty to promote the nhra.

They could have seen one of the road show rigs or the souvenir trailer.

Our pit was right across from Courtneys pit, and I could see that Courtney and John were both standing behind their trailers in their street clothes signing autographs way after the races were over and while teams were packing up. I also noticed that Courtneys line was a little longer then johns .:D

Gee, maybe because she is a little cuter than John :D By the way Eugene, I know you are a hauler driver---who do you drive for??
