I'm kinda behind the 8 ball w/ Baby Gators. But did see that Matt Gill Q #1 TA/FC 5.455 271.73. Is this the fastest speed ever for TA/FC? I seem to remember only one or two runs over 270.

At around the time the nitro guys started laying back the headers a few alky guys tried it. I remember John Lombardo Jr. went 274 at the finals in 2015 and that held for a few years.

I was watching T/AD and TA/FC at Wild Horse yesterday. Guess that's what got me thinking about MPH. I did notice that only around .2 difference in ET between the classes. Used to be .3 cuz of weight. Same thing in Pro classes.

I personally like TA/FC and I hate to see only 7 or 8 entries at national events but I understand it. You can't possibly make money running that class and while it's not as maintenance intensive as the fuel counterparts those cars still require a hell of a lot of highly skilled work and a substantial amount of money to be competitive.

Gill's car has been running strong for quite a few years. With the Sunday weather forecast being cool and clear in Gainesville look for some HUGE numbers in all the classes. I know Steve Boggs is licking his chops. I already have advil in my firesuit pocket on standby! :p
Go get 'em Sean! BTW I loved the T body on the family FC last weekend!
