Last I heard they were still in negotiations with NHRA. The thinking is that if they let them do their livestream again, then it will drive attendance down because people will stay home to watch it instead of attending. I think it increases the exposure of the event and makes people want to attend even more!

Mike it is not an NHRA race to negotiate, the Kern County Racing Association is the operator of Auto Club Famoso Raceway and producers of the March Meet.

Last I heard this weekend is that there will be NO live video feed.

Buy a ticket!

I hate to hear this. They did a good job. When they did the Palmbeach warmup, they said see you at the MM. A lot of us can't get there. Sad deal. :(:(
 
Bangshift hasn't done a official announcement, but they said it is now a GO. This was in answer to my ? on their forum.. WOO HOO
 
Sounds great!! Just need to know what time each day you will begin broadcasting for those of us not in that time zone.

Its on- its cool- its a little spotty at times and the floppers are having issues. TF is up in a minute

(And whats up with the Palm Beach cut-in with McMillan all the time??)

Thanks Chad, Daphne and Brian and all the staff at Bangshift.com another outstanding job broadcasting the 2011 NHRA Heritage Series March Meet from famous Famosa Raceway. You are truely good for the sport and its future. I really enjoyed providing some of the chat filler for the online event, can't wait for the reunion in October.
