Dave is a good guy and I think he did a great job. Was always fun talking to him when I was running TAFC. I do like Brian’s style of announcing and I think he will be a great asset. Sad that Dave had to be the one to take the hit.

You are talking about the late Brian Olson I believe. A great friend and an awesome announcer.

I do not feel that I have a “yelling and screaming” style. I helped Brian slide a new set of pistons and rods into his voice more than a couple Sunday mornings.

I for one think Brian will make a huge positive difference in the booth. Personally I'd bounce Tony, but it's not my show and not my call. I liked Rieff but something about Brian's style shows real grassroots drag racing "street cred". Or is it "strip cred"? Congrats Brian, can't wait for Pomona!
