Just finished the show. It was GREAT. Jay went to Hawleys school & drove a S/C dragster. Erica Enders was with him. Jay and another big car guy Tim Allen
Drive Hellcat Challengers. GM prototypes that we never saw. Past & present Mustang GT350's, and a lot of other stuff. Very interesting, I'm lookin forward to
next weeks show.

When we went to Franks school, they didn't let us run the cars flat out like that. They had a 120 mph chip in the MSD. Maybe they don't do that anymore.

Jay, Leno has faster and quicker street cars than that at his shop.

Have you ever taken a tour at his place? Anyone is welcome, but best to have a group between 4 and 10 who are willing to ask lots of questions and show real interest.

That S/C car was one of the two Fiscle Cars. Usually Eddie Fiscle drives it when he is not on the crew for Morgan Lucas

Quicker than 8.50@155 on the Street? What car in Jay's garage runs that?

I'm not looking to get into an argument and I really don't care, but sure this one will get to the finish line before that dragster would.

I dont care to argue either but I dont think its mathematically possible for that car to beat the dragster in a 1/4 mile race. Long distance? Maybe, I'm not an engineer.

However, the article states.... "It puts out 650 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque"

Well, Frank says the dragster is right around 1000hp, and it probably weighs less than Jay's car, not to mention the dragster had les aero drag...... not hard to figure it out which car gets there first. In a 1/4 mile race the lighter car with a bunch more power and less drag wins every time.
