Legal drag racing on a city street. (1 Viewer)

I heard a few people talking about this while I was in Brainerd for the Nationals a few weeks ago and I just read about it on a local car forum.

The city of Duluth, MN. is allowing a 1 day drag race on Garfield Avenue. Ok, it's not actually a race.... it's more of a time trial but they ARE running on a city street.

Be better off going to BIR for time trials and actually know what you ran.


Sounds to me like it might end up being a rice-burner event. But I could be wrong as I cant get to see the pictures from last year haha. Internet restrictions at work.

Anything is possible I guess but most, if not all the cars pictured in the link from last year were American muscle cars. I guess we'll find out on Sunday.

They did this in Pittsburgh a couple years ago. Kind of farce IMO, publicity stunt.
