I heard a few people talking about this while I was in Brainerd for the Nationals a few weeks ago and I just read about it on a local car forum.

The city of Duluth, MN. is allowing a 1 day drag race on Garfield Avenue. Ok, it's not actually a race.... it's more of a time trial but they ARE running on a city street.

Here is a link to the event website...

I just might jump in the car and head north this coming Sunday.

That seems pretty cool. But $50 per entry???

Be better off going to BIR for time trials and actually know what you ran.

Sounds to me like it might end up being a rice-burner event. But I could be wrong as I cant get to see the pictures from last year haha. Internet restrictions at work. :(

I believe pic 237 is an Edsel, not a Fairlane....

399 pics of some nice street machines... thanks for the link Brian

Good example of "build it, and they will come".
Lots of money flowing there. I wonder where it went.

Brian, there's a lot of nice cars attending this event. Are they from Duluth and Minneapolis area or further away.
