Laris Wins Again! Wire to Wire NHRA SpringNationals
(4-15-19) Raceland, LA – Ross Laris stood out during this weekend’s NHRA SpringNationals at Houston Raceway Park. Laris qualified number 1 on the poll and was the last one standing Sunday evening holding his 1st ever National Event Wally in Top Dragster, landing Ross on top of the National Point Standings.
“What a great weekend from start to finish qualified number 1 and left with the Big Wally,” stated Ross Laris, President of Laris Motorsports Insurance, “It is not easy winning in this class, Division 4 has tough drivers with fast cars, we just had a solid performance this weekend from the crew to the driver,” smiled Laris.
Laris’s season of solid performances is growing, the win in Houston stacked with a win in Gainsville on the Lucas Oil Series, matched up with a runner up in Dallas has provided “Baby” Laris solid ground to chase the Racing RV’s National Title in 2019, that is still early in the year for adding up points, however, Laris and company are stacking them consistently.
“It’s too early for me to think about the points, our Motorsports Insurance Company is growing so fast, that we actually become more focused on the business,” Laris continued, “We will continue to approach every event the same, prepared by our great team, enjoy the time with racers and my family, while we keep going fast,” Laris laughed.
The Laris Motorsports Team will have a few days off as they prepare for a hectic schedule of National and South Central Division events in Top Dragster and Super Comp competition. Next stop will be the NHRA National at Atlanta Dragway the first weekend in May.
