Knowles Racing Looking For Improvement in Atlanta

Grand Junction, CO – After a DNQ in Houston Mike Knowles and his Knowles Racing Team are looking for improvement at this weekends Jegs Pro Mod Challenge event held in conjunction with the NHRA's Summit Racing Equipment Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Ga.

"It's been a lot tougher season than we first expected," said Knowles. "We had real high hopes before the season started. We had a new McAmis built Corvette with Mike Janis power and things looked like they'd be great but after the Vette got damaged in pre-season testing we had to fall back to the Camaro."

Having to switch cars mid-stream isn't an easy task. What works on one car may not work on another. Knowles and Crew Chief Dan Page are looking to address that before the Atlanta race.

"The Vette should be ready around the St. Louis race but we're going to stick with the Camaro till after the St. Louis event. It's a good car. Dan and the guys just need more time with the Camaro to find what makes her happy and that's what we're going to try and accomplish before the Atlanta race," said Knowles

Knowles Racing consists of:

Crew Chief: Dan Page
