It's funny you use Massey as a Rich kid . Not a Rich kid by any means . That said those who have money and support Drag Racing are welcome because at the end of the day Drag Racing is all about racing the other guys money .
The Big Show is necessarily the most expensive and those sponsor dollars keep the teams in the hunt . The equipment is pretty much a write off .

John is looking for $$. He's not stupid enough to be negative about anyone or anything at this point. Once he has a new multiple year, many million dollar contract he might be a bit more critical of some things. He is first and formost a businessman.

This isn't good. I really thought he of all people wouldn't have that big of a problem finding $$ given how much notice he was given by Ford and Castrol.
