Jerry Eckman

That's the greatest thing i've read in a long time. I hope they do decide to enter Jerry in a national event or two. Now if only we can get Pennzoil back... :D:D

with barely enuff cars entered for a full field, at the last few races, they need all the racers they can get.:D Maybe give Darrell Alderman and the Wayne County boys a call tell them all is forgiven ?? :D

In his first full pass in 15 years, Jerry Eckman records a 6.68, 205 mph behind the wheel of the Steve Kent Pontiac.

I respect him for fully owning up to what he did, these days its seems like the standard approach is to stall, defer, blame in on your poor upbringing or whatever best BS excuse you can cook up so I appreciate his honesty.

I hope he has some good luck back in the sport.

The original fine was $25K on him and the same amount for Jerry. Jerry paid 13 and to my best research Orndorff never paid one dime.

I didnt doubt he'd get it done, but I would love to hear his thoughts regarding the difference between today's cars vs. 15 years ago.

What an upstanding guy to admit his role and fault in the situation. Not something that is commonly found in today's society.
