Is NHRA Audiocast working for any other non-member?

Because due to a 2 hour tv window, Dave Reiff said they are showing round 1 as highlights and normal commentary will return for round 2.

I haven't been able to listen to it on my phone all weekend. I am a paying member and it just will not play on any of my mobile browsers. It was working fine 3 weeks ago for Arizona. For this race, there is a new player setup for the stream, and it just will NOT work correctly at all. NHRA.com, National Dragster, I even tried the Audiocast Beta as they suggested. It will play for 20 secs, and then freeze. Then that is all she wrote.

I have ESPN3 running on second computer as I work on the primary one. I love this setup because I have the video and the sound keeping me company as I do other stuff. I gave up on the audio feed because of all the inconsistency it had.

Jerry, for me this is the first weekend I got my money's worth for the buck paid. It worked well on all of my devices. I did note that there was an updated NHRA Mobile (which I updated) and I'm pretty sure I'm also running the latest IOS. I was in and out of the car a lot and the factory stereo picking up the iphone after every start occasionally caused a hiccup, but nothing that a hard close of the app and relaunch did not quickly solve. I have AT&T and Spring iPhones and both seemed happy this weekend. That was not the case the last two races (both only worked very early in the race .... when sportsman would be running in the prior weeks).

Jeff, I am running an Android phone. That NHRA mobile app kind of makes me mad. We are paying customers of an NHRA membership. Yet, we still have to pay $1 to listen to it from their app? Yeah....

I am with you, as a paying NHRA member I refuse to pay anything extra to listen to it. I use the web browser on my phone to listen and I have no issues listening that way.

It's not too different from 1320go ... your membership and your app are different costs (although the app is a one time fee). I don't like it, but if it works better I'm willing to pay a buck. I find a lot of other aspects of the app absolutely silly .... the "real time" ET and MPH zooming up, jeeze don't waste the bandwidth or my time waiting.
